Anne-Sophie Emard graduated from the Clermont-Ferrand art school in 1997. In 2003, she lived in Montreal as part of the Institut Français' artist residency program "Les Inclassables". Her work is part of the collections of the FRAC Auvergne and the Musée d'art Roger-Quilliot in Clermont-Ferrand. In residence at the VIDEOFORMES festival in 2005, she has participated on several occasions in this event, as well as in the nomadic residency program initiated by VIDEOFORMES: Scotland and Hong Kong in 2016, Teheran in 2017. With Pierre Levchin (video artist, stage and lighting manager), she created the duo Dersu&Uzala, dedicated to scenic image and light devices.
