In "À flots et à sang" Camille Maestracci is diving into the fishing world and interrogates how to make fishing sustainable.

Episode 1: Camille Maestracci investigates the affair of the decapitated seals in Finistère. A minor news headline will lead her to the trial of a fisherman. There, she will discover the issues of accidental fishing.

Episode 2: In this second episode, she is interested in a possible resurgence of seals at sea and in the nets of fishermen. What are the consequences for marine biodiversity ? To answer this question, she interviews several fishermen but also Vincent Ridoux, professor of biology and scientific communication at the University of La Rochelle.

Episode 3: Board a fishing vessel for a sea trip with Camille Maestracci. In the middle of the waves, she discovers the profession of a fisherman and their culture. She also wonders about the challenges of this high-risk profession, the future generation of fishermen and the environmental impact of fishing

Episode 4: Here, she wonders about the ecological consequences of fishing, faced with the weight of years of overfishing. Is it too late to develop an eco-responsible model?

Episode 5: In this last episode, Camille Maestracci wonders about consumer habits and their consequences on fishing methods. Is it possible to invent new ways of fishing, to meet both the expectations of professionals and consumers?
