A device for a spectator, at the confluence of digital creation and mediation, which aims to promote and encourage the discovery of contemporary dramatic writing through a sensitive digital experience. By taking a seat in Les Loges, the visitor settles in for a few minutes of one-on-one time with a virtual performer who will plunge him or her into the intimacy of a theatrical text.

By picking up the phone, you are put in touch with an actor in a rare proximity, as if you were placed on the other side of a dressing room mirror. Thanks to a device known as optical theatre, this performer appears virtually "in relief" and looks you straight in the eye to share with you a monologue from the contemporary French dramatic repertoire. The aim is to create an experience that borrows from theatrical codes and pays tribute to the art of the actor.
A first collection of texts has been created in co-production with ARTCENA from texts selected from the winners of the Aide à la création de textes dramatiques and the Grands Prix de littérature dramatique that the National Centre organises each year. The repertoire integrated into Les Loges will grow and be enriched over time.
This installation, which is entirely autonomous technically, can be set up in cultural venues (to offer, during the day, other uses than the traditional performance at a fixed time) as well as in schools or any other type of venue not specifically dedicated to culture.
Our desire is to bring together, in a rare proximity, an actor, a text by an author with each spectator. The use of digital technologies serves to propose a perennial device, proposing to make a repertoire of dramatic texts accessible to the public at any time, without reducing the "spectacular" dimension to a screen broadcast.
