Always starting with a meticulous collection of sounds recorded in the field, Eddie Ladoire's electro-acoustic compositions enriched with sound design, given to hear like soundscapes, are now regularly integrate literary and poetic creations (radiophonic fictions) entrusted to authors.
Revealing the rich heritage of a city, a natural site or a historic monument, giving voice to the ephemeral or the inaccessible by archiving a living memory, discovering personalities and professions involved in history or the activity of a place, to accompany the discovery of a museum collection through a storytelling of its artworks, to revive vanished eras or on the contrary, to project the listener into a future temporality... in the manner of travels , as a travel, sounds tours reveal mental images stimulating the imagination and constituting, depending on the context, forms of sensitive mediation and knowledge's transmission.
Eddie Ladoire is the author and director of more than 30 geolocated sounds tours in France. Most of them, broadcast on the Listeners application- a dedicated digital solution, developed by the artist who is also co-founder of Unendliche Studio- a sort of audio guide 2.0. adaptable to all sites, indoors and outdoors.
