Recurrence is an audiovisual installation about eternity. The device allows effects of depth and translucency, pseudo-holographic, which sublimate visuals symbolizing the cycle of sunrise and sunset. This general aesthetic is completed by an electronic, symphonic and delicate soundscape. The musical layers and movements are blurry, with no beginning or end...and ultimately encapsulate the idea of what eternity could be. An experiment !

Recurrence was born from the meeting of Alex Augier and visual artist Heather Lander. The work is presented as an immersive audiovisual sculpture that can be presented both as an autonomous installation or as part of a performance.

The visual rendering is based on a specific screen composed of smart-films and one-way mirrors. Arranged in 32 panels and installed on 2 layers, this device brings a new dimension, pseudo-holographic, to the rendering of images. All of this equipment is transportable by the artist on a regular flight via 3 pelicases without overweight and without oversize.
