Series, interactive movies, virtual beings, video games, immersive works: Léa Ducré is a screenwriter and designer of digital work. Before she wrote her own stories, she listened and held the mic to others. She was a journalist first. And gradually - almost sneakily - she started to develop concepts for new media.
In a constant quest for new and hybrid formats, she recently trained as a writer for TV series at CEEA. She always seeks new ways to expand her craft of telling stories. Her latest creations involve working as a narrative designer for VR experiences for Novelab, creating and directing a virtual being with Cinétévé Expérience, a video game supported by the FAJV fund, a interactive film produced by Cinétévé Expérience, and writing for a prominent Youtube channel in France (Datagueule) as well as various digital series for France Télévisions and Arte.
She is naturally drawn towards writing stories about futuristic worlds, and about ecological and feminist themes. In her body of work, one obsession emerges: our digital lonelinesses and illusions, what we project onto the virtual worlds we build.
