Her work takes the form of films, sound and multimedia installations, web and radiophonic creations.
Born in 1989, Julie Vacher lives and works in Aubervilliers (Poush). Graduated from Le Fresnoy-Studio National des Arts Contemporains in 2018 and Fine Arts in Lyon in 2013, her sound and film work has been presented at major contemporary art and cinema events such as the Némo Biennial (FR), Passerelle - Art Center (FR), FID Marseille (FR), Digital Art Festival Taipei (Taiwan), Palazzo Grassi for Helicotrema (IT), Salon de Montrouge (FR), Biennale Musique en Scène (FR), FRAC Poitou-Charentes (FR), American Documentary Film Festival (California, USA), Untilthen Gallery (FR), Cinéphémère - FIAC Hors-les-murs (FR), SNIFF (Finland).
In 2023, she is a resident at Villa Kujoyama in Japan and at Abbaye de Maubuisson. In parallel, she is working on a film project as part of the "Mondes Nouveaux" program.
