Girelle is a production company founded in 2006 and based in Orléans and Nice. It specialises in audiovisual and multimedia production. Girelle has made supporting creative documentary projects a key focus of its development, notably through the production of one-offs and themed collections, with an editorial policy that encourages access to works and encounters with their creators.
A large proportion of the films produced reflect a genuine curiosity about different art forms such as drawing, music, painting and architecture. Social and environmental issues are also central to the projects we choose to produce.
The company's development is also based on a diversification of its fields of intervention and a desire to explore other genres. These include short films and animated series in a narrative or experimental vein, using traditional or computer-animated techniques.
