Mathias, a psychotic travelling salesman, tries to reconstruct his time on an island that was perhaps linked to his childhood. When the body of a young woman was discovered, suspicion fell on Mathias, even if other islanders wanted her gone...
“The Voyager / The Voyeur” is a diptych composed of 2 films on 2 different supports.
A “flat” version (“The Voyager”) is dedicated to cinema and TV broadcasting, the other (“The Voyeur”) to broadcasting on Virtual Reality (VR) platforms. In both versions, the spectator is placed in subjective view and attends a criminal intrigue in the eyes and hearing of a psychically unstable protagonist.
Coming from the same shoot made with a VR camera, the 2 versions however offer 2 different points of view on the plot. It is therefore an unprecedented exploitation of the "off-screen" made possible by the use of a VR camera in a staging designed at 360°.
