Capsule Collectif creates multimedia, immersive, and in-situ works. The collective explores connections between the living and the digital, art and science. Capsule develops futuristic narratives, offering alternative perspectives through installations, mappings, and artistic collaborations. The digital becomes a sensitive medium, which, combined with traditional techniques, grounds each work in a formal and tangible presence, far from the purely virtual. This hybrid creation is shared through conferences, workshops, and interactive sessions with diverse audiences.

Resident at the 6b in Saint-Denis and the CAP in Saint-Fons, Capsule Collectif unites three artists, Antonin Dony, Eve Martin, and Arsène Prat, around hybrid multimedia installation projects, often in situ. Capsule operates as an ecosystem, with each artist contributing their expertise to create immersive forms that integrate sculptural and audiovisual elements.

During the second lockdown in 2021, they launched a first exhibition, without an audience, which later became a film: Avec Vue. The multitude of events witnessed through screens and windows drove them to explore potential pathways for life within the Anthropocene. At this point, they collaborated with writer Valentin Vennesson, envisioning a “post-human” world. As a remedy to ecological anxiety, they created a timeline where nature survives, heals, and transforms—a nature evolved, infused with material remnants, plastics, and human technologies. Cables and technical systems are emphasized as biomimetic elements and media transmitters, serving as conduits for a sensitive inquiry into landscapes and environments. Between nature and culture, humanity fades only to better question our relationship to life and its digital representation.

Capsule Collectif is active in various creative fields, including digital art, electronic music, and performing arts. They design immersive scenography and video performances for various festivals and Parisian clubs. They also produce monumental video projections—mappings—merging contemporary art with audiovisual spectacle on sites like the Basilica of Saint-Denis, the Olympic Village under construction, and the 6b for Nuit Blanche 2024. They position themselves at the intersection of multiple practices, as recently demonstrated in Paysages Parallèles, a project under development at Le Volatil in Toulon and Mains d’Oeuvre in St-Ouen.

The collective was born out of a desire to connect these different worlds and foster encounters. To make hybrid creations accessible, Capsule employs architectural video mapping, creative workshops, and cultural mediation. They are committed to shared reflection, co-constructing projects with diverse audiences.
