Affluences is an innovative startup founded in 2014 in Paris to address a very simple problem: avoid congestion in places welcoming the public and avoid queues.
How does it work?
1) Crowd measurement: we install sensors, adapted to each site, to monitor crowds in real time (waiting time and occupancy rate) or we retrieve the information from existing measurement systems. Affluences is currently the only company capable of providing real-time waiting times thanks to a sensor developed by our team.
2) Crowd forecasting: Affluences can provide a daily or weekly estimate of the number of people thanks to a predictive algorithm. This is based on: the attendance history, the calendar, the weather and the number of visits to the establishment's page.
3) Communication of attendance: we communicate attendance, forecasts for the rest of the day, and practical information about the establishment on our various media: our mobile application (free and without advertising), our website and the establishment's digital media thanks to the Web API. The application displays the entire network of Affluences' partner establishments, classifying them by geographical proximity.
4) Attendance management: we design and implement tools to observe and control the data collected by the sensors. The establishments have access to a simple and ergonomic portal that allows them to manage all the information, reservations and access to all the attendance statistics in order to understand and manage the flow of visitors.
