Association

Since 2011, the GIV association has aimed to develop the initiatives and skills of young people through video game events. Its purpose is also to meet and exchange, and to transmit digital culture and pop culture.

GIV is a 1901 law association managed by volunteers, whose aim is to organize gatherings of electronic sports players, particularly in Ile de France.

In May 2011, 3 engineering school students decided to create an association in order to promote and discover their passion: e-sport.

The GIV-LANs that we organize in the Ville du Bois and in the Urban Community are the heart of our events. They bring together around a hundred video game players. Additionally, in collaboration with surrounding communities, we organize video game evenings or online tournaments throughout the year, in order to stay in touch with our community, promote this entertainment and offer intergenerational exchanges.

GIV has around a hundred members and around twenty active members.
