Her latest works are dedicated to written and spoken language, its dysfunctions, its algorithmic manipulations (Copy that, Les voix suspendues, Conversation au fil de l’eau, Leçon de vocabulaire, Spell, Disfluences, Copies non conformes, etc).
Her work has been exhibited internationally: Centre Pompidou, Gaité Lyrique - Paris, IMAL - Brussels, Mutek, Elektra - Montreal, Fact - Liverpool, MAL - Lima, NAMOC - Beijing, ... and awarded by numerous prizes and grants: Ars Electronica, Locarno, SCAM prize, Bourse Pierre Schaeffer, Villa Médicis hors les murs grant, Transmediale Berlin, Stuttgart Expanded Media Festival...
In parallel to her activity as an artist, Cécile Babiole is an independent curator. She is also a co-founding member of the artist collectives Le Sans Titre and Roberte la Rousse.
