A graduate in political science, a former filmmaker and cinema operator, Gilles Alvarez is currently Director of the International Biennial of Digital Arts in Paris/Ile-de-France, produced by the CENTQUATRE-PARIS. He has notably set up the "Aide à la création multimédia expérimentale" which has supported more than 250 projects of multimedia installations and audiovisual performances in 10 years.
