In permanent search for new technologies, Joan Giner's universe is focused on imagination and poetry. He develops digital languages based on video, set design, light and sound interaction. The basis of its semantic is minimalistic and easy to embrace, whereas the technology behind its projects is rather complex.
Joan Giner develops a wide range of activities such as creative director, video director, TV reporter, advertising and music video director, editor, motion design, stage design, light design and interactive design. He is also a part time teacher at Les Gobelins school and LISAA, teaching motion design and video mapping to the new generation.
Involved in the french digital art scene since 2004, he is co-founder of Vision’R VJ Festival, a french alternative festival focused on live video performances and digital installations. He is also technical director and light design support for Olivier Ratsi since 2014 and he frequently collaborates with other artists for films, shows or exhibitions, engaging his digital skills across disciplines.
