Based around digital artistic experiences, debates, keynotes and meetings targeted at professionals and led by experts, we are offering a journey of inspiration and understanding of the creative possibilities offered by immersive and interactive technologies, specifically designed for the performing arts sector (artists, producers, programmers).
Closely linked to changes in society, artistic practices are echoing the digital transition: on-stage technical resources, augmented live performance, motion capture, digital doubles, real-time interaction, digitisation of cultural content, etc. The deployment of these innovative and digital artistic forms is overturning cultural programming and the relationship between artists, stages and audiences. Hybridisation, virtualisation and augmentation of the performing arts are the watchwords of these new models, where everything remains to be invented.
After 3 editions attended by more than 700 participants, Performing Arts, Digital Stages has become a key forum for exchange and networking - identified by producers, artists, programmers, theatre managers and creative technologists - and a real source of inspiration and understanding of the creative possibilities offered by immersive and interactive devices.
