Founded in March 2020 by Jeremy Frey (film director) and Florent Gilard (producer), SAOLA Studio aims to bring together talents from the worlds of audiovisual, art and new technologies, converging towards a single goal: creating, telling and producing stories.
To do this, they have chosen augmented reality (AR), this new attractive and spectacular technology, which they consider to be the visitor experience of tomorrow.
Indeed, due to the extent of its possibilities, AR, which unlike virtual reality cannot be considered without a connection to reality, is already an extraordinary mediation and educational tool for cultural sites, as well as a great opportunity to enhance their collections and sites.
Eager to offer a new way of visiting museums, SAOLA Studio favours the use of AR glasses for immersive experiences. Freed from the constraints of a smartphone or tablet screen, users can fully immerse themselves in a new dreamlike and educational museum experience.
Based on a virtuous and innovative co-production model, in which each entity exercises its own knowledge, our projects are unique, designed exclusively for the specific needs of the sites and venues and delivered "turnkey".
SAOLA Studio is the winner of the IFCIC 2021 "Entreprendre dans la culture" award and its first project, REVIVRE, produced at the National Museum of Natural History in Paris, was nominated in several categories at the latest "Laval Virtual Awards".
