bear my soul is a collective and interactive VR installation, inspired by an animist myth, for a group of 2 to 6 participants simultaneously (minimum 50m2 space required).
In a spiritual dimension, the participants accompany a faceless creature in search of its identity. By interacting with it and the beings of the forest, they will help the creature transform and experience their own metamorphosis.
"bear my soul" is a collective and interactive installation in virtual reality, imagined as an animist tale.
"All living beings - plants, animals, and humans - share a common soul and are part of a whole. At night, we release our spirits from our physical envelopes, and we can have a dialogue; everything becomes possible again.”
With "bear my soul", we intend to create an engaging, intuitive and sensory experience. It is through gaze, touch and the vibration of its voice that the participant will interact with the beings of the forest.
After the linear introduction, our participant will discover the woman that will initiate him to vibrate his voice and use his hand to interact.
In the cave, the comfort that he will bring this character by his touch will allow him to reach the forest of the spirits, a space where he will interact not only with the forest beings (animal, vegetable, mineral); but also with the other participants embarked in the experiment.
