OPERATION
Using an innovative device that's easy for the public to grasp, the exhibition takes you on a journey through dreamlike, soft and colorful worlds for young and old alike. Each illustration comes to life when hovered over with the Artivive app, available free of charge on smartphones and tablets.
BINAURAL SOUND
Binaural sound is sound captured and processed as it appears to us in space, i.e. in 3D. It is recorded using an artificial head whose ears have been fitted with microphones. It is then mixed and processed in 3D software for transcription into stereo headphones. Sound seems to come from both sides, but also from above, below, in front and behind.
Sound creation: Pierre-Alain Pédebernade.
