Since 2001, Electroni[k] has been actively committed to the development of digital cultures and hybrid artistic practices.
Our work is structured around five main areas:
• Support for artistic creation through tailored guidance and production assistance;
• Distribution and touring of works and projects that intersect the fields of art, music, and technology;
• Audience engagement and awareness-raising around emerging artistic forms;
• Contribution to the development and structuring of a digital culture ecosystem;
• Curation and production of cultural events that highlight the diversity and dynamism of digital artistic creation, notably through the biennial MAINTENANT festival.
Electroni[k] explores the role of digital technologies in contemporary society. By encouraging artists and audiences to engage with and repurpose creative tools—augmented reality, interactive design, low tech, sound art, stop motion, video mapping, artificial intelligence—Electroni[k] fosters the emergence of new aesthetics and alternative narratives.It is through this lens of digital cultures—open to a diversity of perspectives—that Electroni[k] develops its cultural mission.
