September 1809, in the midst of a battle between the Qing Dynasty's Imperial forces and a fleet of 70,000 Red Flag pirates, a timid young interpreter is taken captive and in her struggle for survival discovers that neither side is what she expected.

Madame Pirate: Code of Conduct is a virtual reality experience in 6DOF, combining live-action volumetric capture (4DView) footage and comic strip 3D characters. We target all audiences, whether they like adventurous pirate stories, are interested in history or biopics, or want to try immersive experiences with new media storytelling. The public can freely decide the angle from which to experience the story. They choose, with their feet, the distance between themselves and the actors captured in 4D views, as well as the 3D model pirates, in real time. The audience follows Linh, a captured Chinese interpreter, to discover and understand another side of the infamous Captain Zheng Yi Sao and her cruel husband Zhang Bao Zi, and possibly rethink the value of justice behind the code of conduct.
