Space Odyssey

by Etienne Rey and Wilfried Wendling
2015

An immersive installation, in reference to Stanley Kubrick's film, Space Odyssey plunges the audience into the heart of a beam of light. The installation places us in a space where our references become mobile, the distances elastic, the balance precarious.

A stroboscopic journey into the heart of luminous matter, the crossing of Space Odyssey, in reference to Stanley Kubrick's film, is a passage, a sensory threshold, but also a mental and conceptual one that lies at the confluence of physics and experiments on perception, continuing the work of the protagonists of kinetic art.
