In the early '90s, Microsoft announced the release of Windows 93, a revolutionary new operating system. The system expected by millions of users never saw the light of day and was abandoned in favor of Windows 95. Twenty years after the announcement, French artists decided to correct this historical omission and design their own version of the legendary system. Windows93.net takes the form of an old desktop whose icons enable consulting a vast collection of amazing applications, artists' works, and obsolete or forgotten archaeological media.
