Tally was born from the union of a quantum computer and a drawing machine. This fusion is based on the recent development of quantum natural language processing (QNLP) which translates grammar into quantum circuits. For Tally, we have defined a grammar of pictorial composition based on horizontal and vertical juxtaposition. Each application of a grammatical rule is encoded as a quantum circuit fragment.
When these fragments are assembled, they form a quantum circuit that evaluates the artistic judgment of the composition.
