LIGHT

The performance is played in the half-light, at night, illuminated by an extensive lighting system. It extends through six platforms on the periphery to support the music, four platforms for the dance and a central tower with two floors. From one to the other the colors circulate, vibrate, and fixate to create the event, underlining the dance and the live music. Scenes of chaos, communion, climax and deconstruction parade and structure space and time.

DANCE

A total takeover of space in the audience, on the platforms and the central tower. Simple, essential and repeated gestures playing with the lexicon of the party, its hosts and guests. Ample and lively movements, intrinsic to each person, collective unison and more personalized focus. The audience is the first witness and correspondent in this dance to be copied on a common pulse. This project has for vocation to make number, to accompany and integrate also pre-professional dancers in a professional and experienced team. Thus we continue to transmit our relationship to the living spectacle and our relations of proximity and complicity with the public.

LIVE MUSIC

Live electronic music and drums at the heart of the installation on the second floor of the tower, accompanied by six percussionists arranged on the contours, all listening and live. An original musical creation by Paul Changarnier, introduced by Gérard Grisey's "Le noir de l'étoile" (extract). The music drives the rhythm: call, construction, climax, last throws and resonances to make the energy, the breaths and the attention rise and fall. A common pulse, a same tempo which carries us away in heady vibrations.
