Just above the foreshore and the salty meadows of the bay of La Fresnaye in Brittany, a mechanical bird flies over the algae covered tides. Its gaze shaves the sandy soil and sweeps the slopes of the coastal river covered with a slimy and mutable mass. Its voice narrates the landscape through an ode to the green tide. Inspired by the Brent goose, a bird that feeds on green algae, its point of view is suspended, traversing epochs.
Simultaneously, digital X-rays of the green tide, a hybrid living entity part-natural and part-polluted, are generated by small and large-scale photogrammetric 3D modeling technologies. Gradually, the contemporary chimera comes to life.
