As musical half of the french sonic & visual duo Gangpol & Mit, Sylvain Quément has been working since twenty years on several multimedia projects, together with his long-time graphical partner Guillaume Castagne.

Often merging deviant cartoon and technicolor electronics under uncanny disguise, they've been producing together either virtual band's live performances (The 1000 People band), interactive wooden sculptures (La Boîte), as well as audiovisual concerts for both adults (Kuala Lumpen French Institute) or children (Carton Park).

Driven by a certain ability to adress any kind of audience, involved on both a local and international level, they've been touring in various countries all over Europe, Asia, South America and beyond. While also working for exhibitions, workshops or lectures, they also released records on several labels (including Ipecac in the USA or Out One Disc in Japan), as well as a DVD for the german publisher Pictoplasma.

On his side, Sylvain Quément is the founder and head DJ of Radio Minus: a collective webradio and research project dedicated to the lost treasures of children's music.

As a music composer, he's been also regularly commissioned to produce soundtracks for cinema (Cosmodrama / Atopic), animation (Shazzam super 2000 / Normaal) or video games (Vestiaire touch, Bitflip... ) as well as dance and circus (Defracto, Monad) or institutions (Capitaine Futur / La Gaité Lyrique). He's also a part-time writer, occasionally contributing to several music magazines and revues (Audimat, Musique Journal, Chronicart, The Drone...)
