These journeys combine the stories and insights of diplomats, historians, geographers, architects, urban planners, the impressions of writers, the testimonies of all those who bring French culture to life in Istanbul.
All these voices are woven into the soundscapes of the city. Nearly a hundred French-speaking, Turkish and French personalities were interviewed to share their knowledge, their experience and their sensitivity, thus testifying to the vitality of Franco-Turkish cultural dialogue in Istanbul.
The first season focuses on historical relations between France and Turkey, through emblematic places in the Beyoğlu district, such as the Palais de France. The second season is launched on the occasion of the centenary of the Republic of Turkey in 2023. It discusses the relations between Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and France.
