Contrary to a podcast, it is experienced in person, in a dedicated installation and it puts the participant in action. He lives the story, finds himself immersed in a soundscape, while embodying an actor of change. The sound, entirely spatialized, participates in the deployment of a strong imagination that suggests images without imposing them.

During the experience, the participants have their eyes closed. However, they perceive the lights of the luminous sculpture in the center. The light passes through the eyelids. It gives a depth to the story as much as it is conceived as a glimmer of hope and appeasement. It facilitates the imagination and the mental representation of the action, without giving to see the story.

Without denying the introspective character of the work, The Mountain Guardians is indeed a collective experience. This collective is present in the pre-ritual, in the narration of the ritual, and after the ritual. It is part of the narrative, replacing the traditional solitary hero who solves a situation. The participants have the feeling of having shared a moment together.

Although the light sculpture is impressive and gives the illusion of luminous rocks in suspension, the installation is resolutely low-tech and we have several formats to adapt to the spaces and sizes of events.

The aim is to offer a high level of immersion, while limiting its footprint on the living. This translates into choices of materials of reuse or bio-sourced, choice of sound and light to limit the digital footprint (vs. image), adaptable and relatively small scenographies to limit the size of transport, etc.

In this fiction, the authors explore a new imaginary of the mountains. They are presented as sensitive beings, far from the power they give off, and threatened by global warming. While some of its inhabitants, animals and plants, are already organizing themselves to protect it and guarantee their living space, what will humans do? Will he too become a guardian? A poetic, initiatory, and marvelous story awaits you.
