Ugo Arsac is a digital and plastic artist. He is based in Marseille, France. He completed his studies at the Beaux-Arts and Arts Décoratifs in Paris, and then at Le Fresnoy National Studio for Contemporary Arts. By associating urban and human, mythology and anthropology, he produces films, installations, immersive experiences as well as graphic works.

Ugo’s artistic approach straddles the boundary between anthropology, research, and documentary film making. Based in Marseille, France, he completed his studies at the Beaux-Arts and Arts Décoratifs in Paris, and then at Le Fresnoy National Studio for Contemporary Arts. He has been awarded the Émergences Prize (Scam), the Fresnoy’s Friends Prize and the DDessin{23} Prize. During 2023 he will be in residency at the Villa Albertine in New York for a new digital creation, the Villa Saint-Louis Ndar in Senegal and at the 9th Games of La Francophonie in Kinshasa (RDC).
