Association

Since 2001, Electroni[k] developped a project dedicated to today's artistic creation in the fields of sound, image and new media, with a particular focus on multidisciplinary and innovative creations. The association produces every year in October the Maintenant festival, thought as a snapshot of contemporary artistic practices, and creates with its partners multiple devices of cultural action all year round for many audiences around the keywords arts, music & technologies.

the Electroni[k] association

Since the turn of the century, the Electroni[k] association has been working on the development of digital cultures and hybrid and innovative artistic practices. While digital uses hold an ever-increasing place in our daily lives, Electroni[k] wants to make visible the sensitive, poetic and creative dimensions by highlighting artistic practices that combine the fields of sound, image and new media. This highlighting of emerging cultures and innovative practices is accompanied by a strong desire to make them accessible to all audiences. Thus, Electroni[k] works daily to create moments of sharing, discoveries and encounters adapted to everyone and aiming - through a critical and emancipating relationship with digital technologies - to reinforce the power of action of people.

the Maintenant festival

The Electroni[k] project was founded and develops each year around a key event: the Maintenant festival. Imagined as a snapshot of contemporary creativity, it is the showcase of the activities carried out throughout the year by the association. These activities are articulated around four axes:

- To diffuse works and projects gathered around the triptych arts, music & technologies
- To accompany the creation and to support the work of the professional artists
- Raising public awareness of hybrid and innovative artistic practices
- Contribute to the structuring of an ecosystem of digital cultures
